    I think you are right about the type of emblem that Anthony posted about. I bought that emblem from him. There are two types. I have one of each. The one I had restored does not have the pebbled surface between the letters or the Aristocrat marking. I used the one without either because it already had the studs cut off and the solid rectangular area under "Toronto" provides more surface area for the 3M adhesive. Didnt have the heart to cut the studs off the one from Anthony or drill holes in the tail pan.

    Just between you and me.... The emblem as "I remember", inside the Golden Mile lettering. It was a rough surface, pebbled, finely, if you know what I mean. The company Aristocrat I believe was the main producer of dealer emblems in Ontario, and maybe Canada....

    I have a 226/228 ring and pinion set they don’t fit into your timeframe. They are very very nice used dated and 69 on the pinion and the ring dated 4/ 70. This probably won’t help you, but if it does priced at $1500. Doug 614-203-1272
